Learn Call Center Terms: “Tie Line”

A Tie Line is a private circuit that connects two ACDs or PBXs in a wide area or floor. If you don’t know what an ACD or a PBX is then we have a problem. :o(

Ok, it’s like there are a lot of terminals on your production floor that can handle calls, a Tie Line is what connects one terminal to another, especially those that are very far apart.

Talk the Talk!

Bob: “Ok.
